Field Trip: Calendula Oil Infusion Workshop

The land is closely related to plants and essential oils. As an aromatherapist, it is not necessary to know how to grow flowers and plants, but understanding the land and plant growth is very helpful for us to understand essential oils.

The Fragrant Health Association will take everyone to visit the organic farmland on Kam Sheung Road, Yuen Long on February 26. The farmer will lead the tour and introduce what is organic farming. This planting method is good for the natural environment, both physically and mentally. Therefore, in recent years, many local skin care brands have begun to cooperate with farmers to grow herbs to make their own brand skin care products. What is the cooperation mode? What responsibilities and difficulties do they have to face each other? Let the farmer speak for himself.

Like calendula, it is not a common vegetable and fruit on the farm. In fact, a local brand cooperates with the farmer, so we have the opportunity to appreciate a golden flower field. For aromatherapists, we are no strangers to Calendula officinalis, which is often used to treat skin problems such as dryness and eczema. Taking this opportunity, in addition to visiting the calendula field, we can also try to make calendula infusion oil by ourselves. Just take advantage of spring, let's go to enjoy the flowers together.
