Aromatherapy courses from British IFA and American NAHA

Many friends want to know the difference between IFA and NAHA courses. The following is a summary and comparison of the differences, hoping to help you choose the right course.
The full name of IFA is The International Federation of Aromatherapists . It was founded in 1985 and is the oldest organization of aromatherapy therapists in the UK. It is a registered charity in the UK. The courses offered by IFA have been integrated into the British National Occupational Standards (NOS) and the Qualifications and Credits Framework (QCF)
There are three aromatherapy courses under it
1) Professional Essential Oils Therapy Diploma (PEOT)
2) Professional Aromatherapy Diploma (PA)
3)Aromacare Carer's Certificate Course (AC)
>Professional Essential Oils Therapy Diploma (PEOT)
Courses are intended for natural product designers and those wishing to adopt a multidisciplinary approach by incorporating essential oils into a variety of clinical situations. The IFA Essential Oil Therapy Diploma course is suitable for people with healthcare or complementary and alternative medicine (CAM) qualifications and will provide a development pathway for people who already qualify as aromatherapists or have qualifications as masseuses to expand their knowledge and application of essential oils.
Education level: equivalent to British Higher Education Level 5
Admission requirements: Must have certain relevant qualifications. Such as aromatherapists, Chinese and Western medicine, nurses, naturopathic medicine...
>Professional Aromatherapy Diploma (PA)
Suitable for those who are interested in aromatherapy, or have been exposed to aromatherapy and have a basic certificate. This course provides in-depth understanding and development pathways, with the goal of obtaining international certification.
Education level: equivalent to British Higher Education Level 4
Entry requirements: Aged 18 or above
>Aromacare Carer's Certificate Course (AC)
For those of you who need special care, you can learn about one more care plan. This course can help you understand the basic theory of aromatherapy, teach you about touch and massage, and provide you with another way to communicate with those who need special care.
Education level: Level 2
Entry requirements: Aged 18 or above
*Please note that graduates are not qualified to be aromatherapy therapists and cannot diagnose the condition of clients.

NAHA's full name is National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy . It was founded in 1990 and is a registered non-profit aromatherapy association in the United States . NAHA is actively involved in promoting and elevating academic standards for aromatherapy education and professional practice standards.
Its courses are divided into three levels
1)Level 1 is suitable for people who are interested in aromatherapy, want to know more about it and mainly use it for themselves.
2)Level 2 is suitable for friends who have completed Level 1 and hope to have a deeper understanding of aromatherapy. In addition to personal use, they can also use aromatherapy to help friends around them.
3)Level 3 is suitable for friends who have completed Level 2 to understand the clinical application of aromatherapy, practice it in the work scope or start an aromatherapy business.

Recognized qualifications
-Complete PEOT and pass the exam to apply to become an IFA registered essential oil therapist. Can apply to become a NAHA Level 2 member
-After completing PA and passing the exam, you can apply to become an IFA registered aromatherapist. Can apply to become a NAHA Level 2 member
-After completing AC and passing the exam, you can apply to become an IFA registered aromatherapist.
-Those who have completed Level 1, passed the examination and have relevant certificates of studying anatomy and physiology can apply to become NAHA Level 1 members.
-Complete Level 2 and pass the exam, you can apply to become a NAHA Level 2 member
-Complete Level 3, pass the examination, and have at least 1 year of direct clinical aromatherapy experience, you can apply to become a NAHA Level 3 member.
